Terms of work

This is the whole agreement, in the same plain words as the rest of the site. You accept it by pressing the button that starts an order; the edition you accepted is recorded with the date, so neither of us has to remember later what was meant.

Edition of 23 August 2026

Who you are dealing with

Aleksey Botalov, a natural person based in Belgrade, Serbia. Not a company, not an agency, and this page will not pretend otherwise. The work is done under the Serbian tax regime for freelancers, administered by the Tax Administration of the Republic of Serbia — a regime that requires no company registration and is settled by quarterly returns.

The full postal address and the bank details appear on every invoice you receive, and are given on request at any time. Written contact goes through the form on this site or through the dialog on your order page.

VAT

VAT is not charged. The supplier is not registered for VAT in Serbia: turnover stays below the 8,000,000 RSD threshold over twelve months (Serbian VAT Act). Every invoice carries this note, so your accountant does not have to ask.

If your business needs the payment recorded as a company expense, say so before the invoice is issued. In that case your accountant documents it from their side, and the contracting party on my side stays a natural person — that is how this regime works, and pretending otherwise would create a problem for you, not for me.

The first screen is free, and free means free

You describe your business in a few lines. A real first screen is built and put at a private link, usually the same day. It costs nothing and obliges neither of us: you can close the tab and walk away, and no invoice follows.

Until you press Continue on your order page, there is no agreement between us — only a sample you were shown.

What you pay and when

The figure is fixed after one conversation, before any paid work starts, and does not move afterwards. It is written on the invoice in your client area.

Half is due when you approve the first screen and say Continue. The other half is due when the finished site is ready to go live, before it goes live.

If you stop the work halfway, the first half stays as payment for what was already made, and nothing further is owed. If I cannot finish for reasons on my side, anything you paid beyond the work delivered comes back to you.

Time

Working days are counted from two things together: the first half received, and your materials received — texts, photos, access, whatever the project needs. If materials arrive late, the deadline moves by the same amount, and you will be told the moment it happens rather than at the end.

A rush job halves the days for a 30% surcharge. Only one rush job runs at a time.

Edits

Two rounds of collected edits are included, within the scope you agreed. Collect your notes and send them together — that is what makes two rounds enough.

Mistakes, typos and broken layout are not edits. They are fixed without limit and without counting until handover.

A different structure, extra sections or new features are new scope. They are priced separately, and you are told the price before anything is done — never after.

What becomes yours

When the full amount is paid, the economic rights to everything made for you pass to you: the design, the texts written for you, and the code. You may use, change, move and resell it without asking, and without any further payment to me.

Before the final payment, you have the right to look at the work and judge it; the rights pass on payment, not before.

Two honest exceptions. Fonts, photographs and libraries created by other people stay under their own licences — I pass on the licence I bought or use, and I tell you which parts those are. And I keep the right to show the finished work as an example of my work, unless you ask me not to, in which case I do not.

Your domain

The domain is registered in your name and paid by you to the registrar, including renewals. Not through me, and not in my name — that way it is yours in the fullest sense and you can leave at any moment without asking anyone. I help you choose it and wire everything up as part of the work.

Hosting and care, 25 € a month

Optional. It covers hosting, certificates, backups, monitoring, technical fixes, and up to 30 minutes of small text and photo changes a month. Minutes do not carry over to the next month.

New sections, new features and bulk catalogue filling are priced separately.

It is month to month. You can stop any month, and everything — files, database, domain — goes with you. There is no notice period and no exit fee.

The alternative is Keys to you: everything is handed over at the end, you host it wherever you like, and there is no monthly payment at all.

If you are ordering as a private person

Most clients here order for their business, and consumer law does not apply to them. If you are ordering as a private individual, outside any trade or business of your own, Serbian consumer law gives you fourteen days to withdraw from a distance contract.

Because the work starts immediately at your request, that right ends once the work is fully performed, and until then you can withdraw and pay only for the part already made. If you want the fourteen days untouched, say so and the start is held back until they pass.

What I do not promise

I do not promise traffic, positions in search, sales or any number of enquiries. A site turns people who are already looking for you into messages; bringing more people to look is separate work with a separate price, and it will never be quietly folded into your bill.

Responsibility for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the work in question. I am not responsible for losses caused by things outside the work — your hosting after handover, your domain registrar, a payment provider, or Telegram.

Your data

What is collected, where it lives and how to have it removed is written on the privacy page in the same plain words. Your client area has a button that hands you everything stored about you as one file, and a button that asks for it to be erased.

Law and disagreements

The law of the Republic of Serbia applies. If something goes wrong, write first — nearly everything is solved in one message. If it is not, the competent court in Belgrade decides.

A new edition of these terms never applies backwards. Your order is governed by the edition you accepted, and its number is stored with your order.

If any of this reads as unclear or unfair to you, say so before you order rather than after. Terms that need a lawyer to understand are terms that are hiding something, and there is nothing here worth hiding. Privacy

Your business, online. Properly.

One line is enough. The reply lands the same day, usually within the hour.
